Hello,

Nice work ! And the new version has a very usefull feature, but i havent been able to make it work.

If I set "Replace J!Author with CB Author" to No, CB author shows author names and avatar on all my articles. On those sections where i have Joomla author enabled it shows BOTH CB author and standard author name, thus authorname is duplicated.

If I set "Replace J!Author with CB Author" to Yes, then it hides BOTH CB author and standard author name, so i dont have any author names at all.

Cant find the way to make it work properly to show only on those sections where i have enabled author names to show up.

I'm I missing something?

If you set Replace J!Author with CB Author to NO, then you'd need to go into your Joomla parameters and turn the setting for show author to HIDE. That way joomla hides their version of the author and CB Author Plug shows without it.

There are so many possibilities with these new settings, it can be confusing.

Thanks. That is clear. But when i set Replace J!Author with CB Author to YES it hides both the standard joomla name and CB Author name even on those sections i have SHOW author in my joomla parameters.

With that feature set to yes, individual article parameters need to be set to show/hide as you wish. Or are they set already?

Also, make sure you check your front page article settings as you may be set to hide front page articles and that may be confusing you.

If none of this works, perhaps you could email me an admin login (setup a temp if you wish) and I can check it out.

I want to make sure it is working properly!
