Plugin avatar shows on homepage slideshow module – cannot disable this?

Hi, the plugin works fine, however it shows on each article on the homepage slideshow module in the top left corner. I’d prefer it not to show here but I cannot think of a way to disable it, looks a bit messy on the site. Any ideas?
